Adam Kalkin unveils his ‘push button house’ at the Art Basel Miami Beach art fair, the NY Times has an article profiling his work with this kind of design.
Although this one is more a curiosity than a practical design, he has also worked on projects for refugee and emergency shelters, as well as private commissions.

But for all his enigmatic posturing, Mr. Kalkin still grounds his work in the real world. He created his own house in Bernardsville, N.J., by encasing an 1880’s farmhouse in a cavernous prefab aircraft hangar, a surreal juxtaposition of homey sentiment and industrial grit.
